QuickType (version 2.0.0) works beautifully on my Samsung i300
smartphone, which has a "virtual" Graffiti area; the Graffiti area
(or, in my case, a virtual Quicktype overlay) is drawn onto the
screen.
However, the i300 *Phone* application doesn't use a Graffiti area;
it takes over the whole screen for the phone keypad, so the bottom
of the screen, where the Graffiti area was, becomes the last row of
phone buttons. Quicktype is not aware of that, so it continues to
intercept keystrokes...and as a result it's impossible to dial any
number containing a '0'.
Is there any way to temporarily disable Quicktype, or make it
application-aware so that it doesn't interfere with the Phone
application?
