No

I've modified the source from DV__ a bit (hardcoded the language names, so it can be used with hidden menu bar), and compiled in unicode mode.

    Hi,
I I am successfully using it in Windows XP with version 5.03
However when I tried to use it in Windows Vista, it does not work, it will produce this message.

    ---------------------------
    D:\Program Files\Notepad++\plugins\QuickText.dll
    ---------------------------
    Load Library is failed.
Make "Runtime Library" setting of this project as "Multi-threaded(/MT)" may cure this problem.

This plugin is not compatible with current version of Notepad++.

Do you want to remove this plugin from plugins directory to prevent this message from the next launch time?
    ---------------------------
    Yes No
    ---------------------------

Do you have any idea, what could be wrong?

    Thanks
    Petr

Hi, I have no experience with Vista, but I'll give it a try.

Still not working for me. Get an error about multi threading, or something.

Actually, same message as below. Using latest npp as of today and XP.

This plugin will not work for me with latest unicode version on windows vista! When will there be an official unicode release? This is a must have for notepad++

Hi, I've recompiled the project with the suggested /MT flag. However I have no idea if this solves the Vista problem (I have no Vista). Try it and give feedback. Thanks.

The Unicode DLL now works for me on Vista with the compilation that includes /MT flag. Thanks for the help.

Great, at least for one Vista user. (This time I'll send it only once, so take care :)

Hi, thank you for sharing your code! :)

As for you question: "QuickText.dll (Compiled with /MT)" works like a charm in Windows Vista 32bit. Thank you again. :)

Using the plugin with Notepad++ 5.3.1 on Windows XP, works perfectly. Thank you!!!

I just wanted to thank you personally for making these files available to everyone. Also, thanks for for responding to my thread about this topic in the general forums.

    Both were appreciated.
