#26 File count difference falsely reported as 0

Using "Compare Directories" in QuickHash-Windows-x86-v2.6.9.2.exe the program is correct reporting a mismatch when one file is different. However, the program incorrectly reports 0 for "File Count Difference" for the same comparison.

"the program is correct reporting a mismatch when one file is different"

There is an important difference between the CONTENT of one file being actually different, and the file COUNT being different.

When you say the program incorrectly reports 0 for File Count Difference, are you sure the file count was different, or was it merely that one file was different in terms of its content? If the latter, then the problem is not QH but merely a mis-understanding. If the former, then I can look into it further.

    Thanks

No reply received so I assume the comment above answered the query. That said, some additional improvements have been made in v2.7.0 (to be released very soon on the quickhash-gui.org website) which may address this issue also.
