v2.6.5 in Yosemite 10.10.5 will display the main window but not allow focus to switch to that window with a mouse click, or command-tab (Quick Hash GUI does not appear in the list or active apps)
app given full rights, and running as root makes no difference.
Dragging a file to the window will produce a checksum, and the min, maximise buttons work, as does double clicking on the title bar to maximise the window, but nothing else is clickable. No keyboard response as window focus is not attained.
I tested with v2.6.4 and 2.6.3 with the same result, so perhaps my machine? I don't have another available to test with unfortunately.

terminal shows this when run:

./QuickHash-AppleMac: line 1: XSym: command not found
./QuickHash-AppleMac: line 2: 0027: command not found
./QuickHash-AppleMac: line 3: f52fba96eec3c958689b6d699a644cd4: command not found

console shows these:

    Thanks for the detailed report.

Can I ask, what happens if you start the program by double-clicking it from the Finder instead of by starting it from Terminal (drag n drop it there if it is not there already). GUI programs started from Terminal on Mac OSX must first change themselves into a foreground application before they can accept input. Let me know?
