I am a little confused. I copied the war folder and its contents in to the tomcat webapps directory. I changed the web.xml to contain the same content as your example-web.xml and set the hosts value to localhost:1099 where 1099 is the JMX port. I also tried using 8090, the http port, but, to no avail.
I tried to add quickfixj-admin as an existing eclipse project but eclipse is complaining about a required project (mule-transport-fix) being missing.
