I just created a Jira RFE to track progress on dynamic session configuration
in QuickFIX/J, http://www.quickfixj.org/jira/browse/QFJ-165 . And I have
kicked off the fun by attaching a set of patches that I think gets us most
of the way there. The patches represent the infrastructure changes needed
to support dynamic lookup of session configuration information, the only
thing that is missing is the specific subclass of SessionFactory to do the
lookup from some interesting source like a database. (For testing I had been
using a SessionFactory that created sessions on the fly from the defaults in
the configuration file.
Anyway, most of the details are in the Jira entry. Let me know what you
