Hi,

if you have a delay of messages (even several minutes) from reception in the log file until it reaches your fromApp() method then I assume your process is constantly loaded or busy or waiting for some resource to be freed.
Have you checked a thread dump during such a delay or checked if the process is constantly garbage collecting?
Are you doing lengthy processing inside your fromApp() method?
