I'm in the process of getting configured on the IB side, so I'm still working out how things work. It's looking like for now that I'm going to have to log into the Gateway with a username linked to my accounts but not to my wife's. Her user name is associated with her accounts. Are you saying that IB will allow for a gateway logged in under my username to send orders for my wife's accounts if I specify a different compID? Am I understanding this correctly?
