Thanks chris. It was a configuration problem. But, mostly I see in FIX manuals, institutions follow one port per session. Is this option available only with Quickfix/J? Apart from heavy traffic on a single port, I cannot see any problem. Does this approach of one port for all sessions have any disadvantages? Also, I was curious to know how quickfix handles all sessions on one port. I will appreciate it if you elaborate on the concept behind it. Adding to the same approach, can we create a setting which can differentiate identical sessions(Same sender ID, TargetID and port).
