Hi,

in theory it should work.
I only recall that there were changes done in https://www.quickfixj.org/jira/browse/QFJ-821 and 
https://www.quickfixj.org/jira/browse/QFJ-256 regarding client certificates and trust stores. If you 
do not require these changes then it should work. But I have never tested it and would recommend at 
least QFJ 1.6.3.
