From my experience old seqnums are used. The old message is sent with 122/OrigSendingTime and 43/PossDup=Y. I did not see acounterparty that did otherwise. How do they specify that it is a resend then? Using 97/PossResend? Somehow the FIX engine needs to know that the ResendRequest has been satisfied. How should it know when only new seqnums are used? I guess the counterparty sends a SequenceReset before sending the other messagesthen? Cheers, Chris.
