Hi all, My fix application is rejecting some messages because of an invalid TAG, which I do not need to read at all. Do you lnow how can I make quickfix to ignore this particular tag? Thank you.
I think there are two possible solutions: 1. In your config, set /ValidateUserDefinedFields/ = N (see http://www.quickfixengine.org/quickfix/doc/html/configuration.html) 2. If you have /DataDictionary/ defined, just add the field to your dictionary file to make the field valid. I've done this in the past to handle proprietary fields from an ECN. You seem to have CSS turned off. Please don't fill out this field.
