[Quickfix-developers] Incorrect NumInGroup count for repeating group

Hi,

I am getting this error when QuickFix is parsing the response to a multi-leg 
order.

I send:

The 555=2 looks good, and there are 2 repeated entries:

However, QuickFix throws up an error:

Is this an issue with the order of the fields in the repeated group?

Hi,

 I am send a trade capture report request and getting a acknowledge
back. I am able to capture a  deals as long as they are outright deals
but as soon as I try to capture a spread deals I start getting this
error on the file store "Incorrect NumInGroup count for repeating
group". FromApp() method doesn't capture this validation. Is there
something  I need to do in my trade capture request since reference
field in the error is "555" (NoLegs) and the type of this field is
"NUMINGROUP".

 

Any help will be appreciated.

Can you paste an example message that works correctly and the message
in question causing the problem?

Hi all,

I am seeing QuickFIX send a Reject (35=3) with the message of the subject in response to every SecurityDefinition (35=d) sent to use by the ICE exchange.  ICE is sending the security definitions in blocks of 100 and tag 146=100, but the reject seems to imply that the value of tag 146 is somehow incorrect... so I assume something more subtle is going on here?  A sample SecurityDefinition and Reject message are in the attachment.

Any help appreciated... I haven't seen this before and not really sure what could be causing it.
