I try to use  quickfix-logviewer-1.1.0 but when I start the application, java
raise this exception:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError:
quickfix/Data
Dictionary (Unsupported major.minor version 49.0)

I use Java SDK 1.4.2_12

This means that the downloaded logviewer has been compiled with JDK 1.5.
Oren, is there any specific need to compile it with Java 5? You could use=
 the "-target" option to=20
make it compatible with Java 1.4.

As a workaround, I suggest: Download the source and compile it yourself.
