Hi all,

this bug may be interesting for all people calling ./bootstrap themselves:

Newer libxml2 version since June 2004 define the include directory in another make 
variable (XML_CPPFLAGS instead of XML_CFLAGS). This breaks Makefile generation since 
./configure.in relies on XML_CFLAGS.

Fixed in the repository.
