[Quickfix-developers] BUG in v. 1.9.4.: config & compilation problem on Solaris 8

First, I don't have 'ar' installed on my system.  (I
simply didn't realize it was needed by QF).  I tried
configuring the brand new version 1.9.4, and the
configuration wrongfully went through.  However,
during the 'make' stage, the following came up:
