[Quickfix-developers] question regarding FIX versions

I am new to this quickFIX program. One thing I was looking for is how to get a session's FIX version if the TargetCompID is available. I did not find a way in the doc to get this information by taking TargetCompID as parameter. Nor did I find anything related to this question on your email achives.
