[Quickfix-developers] Logon exception

Hi,

I have been trying to connect a quickfix client(initiator) to a FIX engine.

During startup process, the client application crashes.

On checking the log files, I find that 2 logon messages were sent and a text 
message in XXX.events file indicated "Logon state is not valid for message".

Why does this happen? Is there a proper solution for this?
