	I'd recommend gcc 3.3.2 or later over gcc 3.2.  There is a bug
	in 3.2 whereby temporary objects occasionally have their
	destructors called twice (I think it may only occur in an SMP
	environment, which you say you have).

	Either version should handle QuickFix just fine.  Not sure
	about gcc 3.4 yet.
