[Quickfix-developers] Resend Request not sent

Using QuickFIX 1.7 with a 4.0 Session..

When my engine, acting as an acceptor receives a Logon Request with a =
higher than expected sequence number (got 5 expected 1), rather than =
accepting the logon and sending a Resend Request to fill the gap, =
quickfix appears to simply disconnect the socket. =20

Is this correct behavior?  From perusing the FIX 4.0 spec it seems like =
accepting the logon and sending the Resend Request would be the correct =
thing to do?
