Tim, I am using Ruby 1.6.8 and just successfully ran the acceptance tests against QF 1.6 (Debug). I think there is an issue with later versions of Ruby with some methods being deprecated. I am trying to run the QuickFIX 1.6.0 acceptance tests on Windows XP, without much success. I have downloaded ruby 1.8.0. When I invoke "runat debug 3000" I initially get a syntax error in runner.rb at line 151. (Should I be using an early version of ruby?) When I fix this, every test still fails with a message like this one: <test name='definitions/server/fix40/10_MsgSeqNumEqual.def' result='failure' > <message> Syntax error <line>3</line> </message> </test> What am I doing wrong? Any help much appreciated.
