	This is not Stanard C, but I think its relatively well
	supported on most platforms.  The Solaris and Linux boxes I
	have access to all support it.

	Once that code was de-Windows-ed, it wouldn't be too bad.  My
	eyes glaze over as soon as I start seeing szVariableName.
