If the problem is with the stl implementation, then it may be possible = use sun cc with stlport. Did you ever try that? -------------------------- Sent from my BlackBerry Wireless Handheld -----Original Message----- From: Caleb Epstein <ca...@bk...> To: Oren Miller <ore...@ya...> CC: Loic Guezennec <loi...@sw...>; Quickfix developers = <qui...@li...> Sent: Wed Aug 27 15:00:54 2003 Subject: Re: [Quickfix-developers] Compilation with SUN CC? If the test pass on the newer Workshop compiler, you're AOK but I was unable to get things to work 100% reliably with this CC: CC: Sun WorkShop 6 update 2 C++ 5.3 Patch 111685-15 2003/05/14 The problem I ran into seemed to be that the message_order comparator was sometimes set to message_order::normal even in the header portion of messages. Copying a FieldMap seemed to sometimes lose track of what the third parameter to std::map was. Not sure if the bug is with the compiler or with the Rogue Wave STL, but I gave up. --=20 Caleb Epstein | bklyn . org | The cops came in and busted me cae at | Brooklyn Dust | for smiling on a cloudy day. bklyn dot org | Bunny Mfg. | -- Grateful Dead ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Quickfix-developers mailing list Qui...@li... https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/quickfix-developers |
