Several months ago a user told me they successfully compiled QuickFIX on
OSX.  He submitted one minor patch that has since been applied.  We
don't regularly do OSX builds, so can't really say if it still works,
but it likely will.  Be sure to run the unit and acceptance tests to
verify the runtime behavior is correct!
