[Quickfix-developers] quickfix and COM

Has anyone used COM with the QuickFix C++ library?

I have to make some database calls and was wondering if anyone has =
implemented this.
I don't want to initialize COM if it already has been done.

Also, if I bring it in, are there any gotchas I should look out for?
