My 1.4.0 version had some problems with missing throw specifier, so I went back to 1.3.2 but in this version I had problems with libpthread. I think the linkage to libpthread was wrong and therefore signal were misdirected and aborted the program. Since I use Debian 3.0 (stable), the necessary libs to use your library were not available. So I used another machine with the newer 'testing' package pool and upgrade the needed libs. On loading the library, I got strange linkage errors with version mismatches so I stopped here. > what problems were you having building quickfix ? we couldn't get all of > the tests to build on gcc-3.2, but didn't spend much time on them as the > main quickfix library built OK. Currently I use gcc-3.0. The 1.4.0 has problems with some missing throw specifier. For some reasons currently the anonymous CVS access to sourceforge does not work, so that I could not get the fixes. Now I try it with CVS browsing. Cheers, Joerg -- Joerg Thoennes http://macd.com Tel.: +49 (0)241 44597-24 Macdonald Associates GmbH Fax : +49 (0)241 44597-10 Lothringer Str. 52, D-52070 Aachen |
