Is their anyone working on integrating snmp into Quickfix? How do any present users monitor Quickfix with snmp. We presently use OpenNms which uses joesnmp, and am looking at enhancing the monitoring capabilities of OpenNms for Quickfix, presently I use a simplistic approach of using TCP port monitor but need to enhance that to catch as many potential errors as possible. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. At present the approach is logging and to use use scripts outside of Quickfix, but if Quickfix were able to send traps itself it would be a welcome enhancement.
