Those are the MySQL unit tests.  You probably don't have mysqld running, or you havn't creating the quickfix database (from the sql directory)

The target for this symlink doesn't exist. There is an old version of 
libquickfix.a in the /usr/local/lib/ directory though, from the previous 
version of quickfix 1.4.1.

Has anyone else experienced this? I'd appreciate any pointers.
