Any additional fields you need to add to a logon message can be done from the toApp method. This method gives you the opportunity to tack on any additional fields you want including passwords and such. This allows you to store your password in whatever secure manner you like instead of having to keep it lying around in a clear text file (you can of course do this as well :) ma...@Ge... wrote: I am new to FIX and Quick FIX.
