We at Oaris Gmbh (Switzerland) are about to go in production with quickfix... Our expirience so far is that: not only is the software extreemely well designed, but is fast enough for usage in our real time ORS (Order Routing System). We've found that most of the (OrderInsert) elapsed time is spent waiting for the our counter parties to act on the order. In short, we can confirm it's responsive... But your question was more about through put and we don't expect the type of "heavy" loads on our routing system, where this was a concern. Unfortunatetly, I donot any stats, I can offer you.
