Submit a report/patch to the developer mailing list.

Anyone can submit a patch.  One of the devs will review/merge it.  This is
an open source project, so timing depends on when a dev can get to it -- to
expedite your bug fix or feature request, you can pay for support.

Connamara Systems helps maintain the project and offers paid support.
There are others as well.
