Dean: What values do you have in your Data Dictionary for Tag 336? Per Grant, this field is a String field, and QF should accept any string therein. Are you using a Data Dictionary? I just checked an example Data Dictionary that ships with QuickFIX...FIX50.xml... <field number='336' name='TradingSessionID' type='STRING' /> What's in yours?
