[Quickfix-users] ignoring custom tags

I would like to have messages validated as they come in, but is there a way
to ignore custom non-standard tags (i.e. tags 6000+)? UseDataDictionary=N
did the trick, but I don't think any of the messages are being validated
now.  Is there a better solution?
