[Quickfix-developers] FIX message validation

ICE recommends disabling FIX message validation, which I'm reluctant to
do.  On the other hand, if I don't follow their advice, I may end up
rejecting a message for no good reason.  Does the quickfix engine still
perform checksum even if the data dictionary is disabled?  Any other
options here?
