Hi, i am trying to set up a simple Quickfix + Python (2.6.2 / win / linux) project but it seems that it is not that trivial as the "This couldn't be simpler. Add the quickfix_net.dll and quickfix_net_message.dll to the references section of your projects." approach for dot net. Googled and searched for previous posts here on the list but couldn't find any help on this. Why is python so overlooked in the qfix community? Is there anybody involved in this willing to share? I read in this list people reporting the same mistakes i came accross today tring to figure out a way to start an initiator in python, also comments on how the examples provided are bad and full of mistakes. Can somebody provide a positive feedback? I think i read also a thread somebody was complaining about this same issue, and then replied with a message saying he could finally get quickfix working in python. It would be nice to share that as well, so people wound't have to comit the same errors. After a whole day fiddling with it, i now know i have to build something in python so i don't get the "_quickfix lib not found" error. that's what i am doing now, or trying to. If someone more experienced with this could join me here i would appreciate.
