[Quickfix-users] multiple FIX version in single app

Hi,

I have a FIX 4.2 application running successfully in production.
There is a need to connect to a FIX 4.4 system. 
I am hoping to extend the current application to have another class that
extends FIXApplication, and code up FIX44 functionality.
Hope that is the right way to approach the problem.
Any pointers in that direction would be appreciated.
