Alain, Have a look at OpenFIX (www.openfix.net), they have a web-based exchange simulator you can use - though it is restricted in how many messages you can send before you have to restart the simulator. Also, I believe marketcetera (www.marketcetera.org) has an exchange simulator, but I haven't looked into it yet.
