So just to be clear, if I get a TCP packet containing "2gh3094
782h-923nd-98fnd23-98n 24-97c", that will get logged somewhere?

Jonathan,

It should attempt to validate it and log to the event.log during
failure.

If my partner company sends a garbled message will QuickFix log that in
any way or just silently ignore it?
