I am not using QuickFix/J, so I can't help you with your question. But if anyone has used TCP_NO_DELAY and is willing to comment on the performance change/benefit, I'd be very interested to hear that discussion. We use TCP_NO_DELAY in our system, but have not done the analysis yet to see what the performance impact is.
