I bet the 5 failures are the 5 MessageStore tests, and here's why: 
since you built with database support, you need to modify the unit test 
config file (test/cfg/ut.cfg) to reflect your database setup.

You currently get a pretty cryptic unit test error when this happens. 
I'll rectify that so you'll see the actual error (which is 
"Configuration failed: Unable to connect to database", by the way).
