I'm sorry, I don't understand what you are talking about? FIX 4.2 allows you
send OrderStatusRequests to ask about pending orders, and allows you get
ExecutionReports to tell you your order status.

As for positions, it isn't very hard to keep track of them yourself.

It seems like a lot of brokers only support fix4.2.  How do you guys survive
without being able to see your pending orders and positions?
