[Quickfix-developers] Logon after several attempts

Hi,

I'm trying to connect QuickFix to an externally written Fix Engine.
QuickFix only seems to be able to logon after about 7 or 8 attempts.
The number of attempts changes and is not related to seqNum.
I've taken failed attempt messages...used my own socket to send them=20
to my Fix Engine and they'vs logged on first time. I'm beginning to
think there=20
may something funny in the way QuickFix handles messages over sockets.

Has this happened to anyone before??
Can anyone help?

NB QuickFix ver 1.12.2 on linux

In house Fix-engine can only see the successful logon messages and seems
to ignore failed attempts.
