Very basic question:

 

For the session to start, I need to know the counterparty's IP address and
the port he wants me to connect to.

Where do these entries go ? It seems I should add them to my config file,
but I have not seen an relevant tags

For these entries, what tags should I use.

 

In the FIX session - is the Logon method - doing the connection to the IP
address and Port ?
