I'm currently running queue on a test network across two machines. The load-balancing seems to
work great, however if I start up a couple of batch jobs all at once the queue program seems to
crash - it just sits there for ages with no response. If I look at `ps -u root` there are a couple of
defunct copies of queued.
I originally installed queue into a shared NFS directory, and tried it again only installing the spool
file into the shared directory with no changed result.
I am using RedHat Linux 6.1 and a standard build eg. ./configure --enable-root

This seems to be an older version of GQ, as versions above 1.20 don't use NFS.
Try 1.40.1 beta (www.gnuqueue.org) or the slightly more recent CVS version and see if you still have
1.40.1 beta represents a major upgrade.
