I suggest going ahead and creating the mailing list on gnu.org so that
it is ready go to.  You could subscribe it to the sourceforge list, or
the reverse, until you decide to switch over.  I think this would be
good because the mailing list archives would then be all in one
place.  And I find the archive interface on gnu.org more pleasant to
search through than many of the alternatives.

Do you have a preview of the structure that you are planning?
