[Queue-developers] Problems with GNU Queue 1.30.1 "broken pipe"

I have just installed GNU Queue on two RedHat 6.2 boxes and I can not submit
a job to run on the remote machine.  The network setup is perfect I can
ping, nfs, telnet, and ftp.  When ever I submit a job from box1 to box2
with:
     queue -i -w -n -h cow1.viox-services.com -- hostname
I get 'broken pipe' in response.  On the remote server side
cow1.viox-services.com I don't get any messages from queued -D &.  Its like
the remote job never gets to the remote server cow1. I have set up NFS for
/usr/local/var just like the documentation says. Any ideas???
