The 'random' program uses srandom() to seed the RNG,
and then
calls rand() to get random values.
It should call random() (or srand()) instead - while
most C libraries
alias one set to the other, Solaris 8 seems to
implement them as
distinct functions. As such the RNG is never seeded
(not even by
the library), resulting in identical results on each run.
