Hi, my name is Dario and i am from Argentina. I am using the software to simulate circuits in a advanced mathematical course with applications on engineering in my university. I have some problems i hope that you can help me. i cant use the file based voltage source. I want to simulate a circuit whit a source like (cos(2*pi*time)*sin(time))^2 (for example) in a transitory simulation. i have used the equation tool to make that function. then I save the values of the equation as a .csv file. then i import the data (.csv) and the program convert it to a .dat file. When i used it in the voltage source and execute the simulator an error message appear. The message says that the file must have time like an independent variable and the voltage source like a dependent. But when i open the file, the time is listed like independent and the voltage like dep. where is the problem? Another problem is when i used the equation tool for a sin function (for example y=sin(time)), it give to me real and complex values, that when i want to make a plot of the equation, both data groups appear on graphic and give a bad one. i have seen it only on sin(time), not with cos(time). (and i can fixed it using real(sin(time)) but i dont know if it is normal or its a bug. I use Windows XP professional ED. in a Core Duo T2300 cpu with 2gb Ram i hope that you can help me with the problems. Thanks for all and congratulations for the program, it is rally useful.
