Hello all, Qucs-0.0.19 was released a some time ago. And now it's time to figure out a plan for the next release (0.0.20). Currently we have a set of excellent new RF and Microwave devices and features by Andres M. Merra. I suggest to merge them in the current code and dedicate upcoming Qucs release the improvements in the RF subsystem. These components will be highly appreciated by Qucs users. It will take 3-6 moths to merge and test these components. The next release could be scheduled for this summer. The other tasks such as refactoring could be transferred to 0.0.21. Guilherme and Claudio, what do you think? --- Regards, Vadim Kuznetsov |

Hello all The move towards version 0.0.20 is indeed very good news.Similarly, a target release date of summer 2017 is ideal as far as Iam concerned. Why does this affect me? The simple answer is that thecurrent plans for Qucs-S are ambitious and will take time. Currently, a greatdeal of effort is going into model synthesis and mixed-mode analogue/digital simulation. Both topics are at a stage where Qucs-S is beginning to produce results BUT both requirea lot of work. The period from now till the summer is therefore ideal, allowing much of the outstanding development work to be done. The above developments also need documentation. Hence again, time is also needed to writemajor sections to the qucs4spice-help online document. Your comments on the above are appreciated. Best wishes. Mike Mike Brinson mbr...@ya...
