Hi,

Thank You for creating this program. This is the first GPL'd circuit 
simulator, that I can use for my purposes, following the help and 
examples provided.

  I wanted to simulate a LED+dynamo powered lighting for my bycycle, 
using 5W Luxeon Rebel leds. / U(t), I(t), w/o rear lamp 20 mA red leds/

I managed to create a new component library with a white led. It seems 
to have similar characteristics as the original one; but I am not sure, 
if the numbers behind are correct or not. I just created the def with 
try and error methode. Where can I find some info about that?

Anyhow, I would contribute my files to help absolute beginners like me.

My other question is about Qucs: I have seen during LED characteristics 
fitting, that reverse current becomes zero after reaching max. around 
breakdown voltage (i.e. Ubr=-5V, Ir=0 at -6V), and forward current is 
unlimited, too.. How I could have at least a warning during the 
simulation, that absolute maximum ratings are reached?
I haven't seen Imax/Irmax values for leds.
